Ever since then, he has had the support of Cameron, one of his closest friends. Flynn continued learning and gaining confidence in his unique style of cooking. He now owns the restaurant GEM in New York.

Maitane started running track and field at the age of 11, although her real turning point came when she became a mother. She found it very difficult to balance her work life, motherhood and her passion. Patxi, her coach, wouldn’t let her give up and sought out a way for her to continue running. Thanks to the trust and confidence that Patxi instilled in her at such a decisive time, Maitane is now not only a mother and engineer, but also the overall Spanish champion in the 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 meters.

At fourteen, she decided to become a professional dancer and was eventually accepted into the National Dance Company, but she realized that her happiness was incomplete. Juan, her partner, helped her to reboot and find a path that changed her life: creating choreography for movies. Today, she has founded Rêves, a company that has created choreography for films by major directors such as Sam Mendes and Alejandro González Iñárritu.

Peru’s first female soccer commentator
Rosa María’s love of sports began with her father’s influence. She has always followed his advice, most notably that of learning from an eminent Peruvian journalist. From the beginning, Rosa María stood out in a world where there were still no women. Her father never doubted her, and together they overcame all the preconceived notions so that Rosa María could become who she is today: Peru’s first female soccer commentator.

From sugarcane cutter to doctor
His story begins as a teenager when he worked alongside his father cutting sugarcane. One day of sheer exhaustion, he finally decided that he didn’t want that life for himself or his family anymore. His parents, despite being illiterate, did not hesitate for a second and encouraged him to study. Today, despite being a sugarcane cutter from humble beginnings, Wellington has successfully completed his medical degree.

His journey began as a child, listening to his father playing a suite by Johann Sebastian Bach. He soon met the maestro Héctor Miranda who guided him into the world of jazz. To date, his achievements include performing in one of the world’s most important venues, New York’s Carnegie Hall, as well as adding three Latin Grammys to his trophy case.
